あおい、かわ。

きれいな流木に出会いますか？


流木というと　なんとなく　ロマン漂うイメージ
森林から　川を流れ　海なり　びわ湖なりに
倒れた木が　流れ着くというのは
ほんとはいけないコト



間伐や枝打ちなど、手入れのされていない森林は
土にしっかり根を下ろしていません。



土壌も元気でなくなっています



生態系が崩れているのでしょうか
松や広葉樹が　虫にやられて
木が枯れています。



たくさんの原因があるのですが
鹿が増えています
餌の奪いあいでしょうか



樹の皮を鹿がめくっています。



皮を食べられてしまった木は　やがて枯れてしまいます。

そのような木が　土と共に川から　流れてきています。



もう、ひとごとではない・・・・



なぜ　日本の山は荒れているのでしょう
なぜ　間伐しないのでしょう
なぜ　土壌がよくないのでしょう
なぜ　枯れるのでしょう
なぜ　日本の山の木をつかわないのでしょう


なぜなら


人の生活が変化しました


生活のために薪や炭が

電気やガスになり、つかわなくなり

輸入材の安価においやられたり

国産材が使われなくなって

山で働く人が苦しくなって

人が山から離れ・・・・

山は見放され・・・

元気がなくなって・・・

荒れ果てて・・・

病気になって・・・・


日本の山は４割もが人が手を加えた山。


人が離れた真っ暗な森は、お日様がとどかなくて
木が上手に育たなくて、生態系がくずれ
土壌も元気がなくなって


山だけができる機能が発揮できなくなって
きれな“水”がうまれにくくなって


誰かのせいにしても始まらない。


近くの樹を使って　森林を手入れして
育てて頂く資金を山に還す。


森林の恩恵を受けている私たちができることを
ちっちゃなことからでも　はじめたい。


これは　そんなプロジェクト。


人と森や山や水がもう一度、仲良くなれるように


ずっと”あおい”水で生きてゆけるように

これは日本の山の話


At Blue Lake Biwa,
Blue Ocean,
And Blue River,
…Do you find beautiful driftwoods?


Driftwood has some images of beautiful romance
It is actually bad thing that fallen
woods drifted through the river to the sea,
lake or anywhere those go from the forest
Forest which is not well treated
by thinning out won’t take root strongly
Soil also will get poor


An ecosystem is being destroyed or what?
Pine trees and broadleaf
trees are dying by attacking of insects


Because of lots reasons,
the numbers of deer are now increasing
Are they robbing foods each other?
Deer is pulling up the skin of woods


The trees eaten their skins are going to die in a short
Such trees are drifting from the river with soil


This is not just other people’s problem any longer

How come Japanese mountains are going to ruin?
How come they don’t thin out the tree?
How come soil is not fat?
How come trees are dying?
How come people in Japan don’t use their own trees?


Because


The life style of Japanese changed
The firewood or charcoal needed for normal life
replaced to gas or electric power
Japanese woods got needless because of
cheaper woods from outside of country
The people working in mountain lost job…
People left mountains…
Mountains are given up by people, getting week,
going to ruin, and finally they got sick
More than forty percents of Japanese mountains
used to be treated by people’s hands


The mountains treated by people
In the Dark Mountains people left, the sun shine
don’t reach to the ground,
trees don’t grow well, ecosystem goes
down and soil gets poor　Only the mountains lost
their functions that they usually do
Clear water is now getting difficult to be produced


It won’t start by talking who did it or who made it so


By using woods near us and treating them,
we now make budget from doing that and
give it back to the mountains
We want to start anything whatever we can do
because we are having a favor of them


This is such a project


Trying to be better relationship again among the people,
forests, mountains and water
Trying to live with Beautiful and Blue water forever
